Egg Mayo Sandwich

Sandwiches are something I have never had when I was small or even until I finished my school. My mom never used to prepare any sandwiches. I used to prepare after learning from one of my friend. But nowadays kids love samdwiches and sometimes these sandwiches get packed in the lunchbox also. They don’t want to take food that needs time to be eaten, so this is a best option though.

It’s easy to prepare in the mornings and is less messy also. Am going to make a very simple sandwich. You just need boiled eggs for this recipe.

EGG MAYO SANDWICH

Ingredients

  • Egg – 2 Nos. (Boiled)
  • Bread – 4 slices (White or Brown)
  • Mayonnaise – 4 tbsp
  • Pepper – 1/8 tsp. (Increase or Decrease according to taste)
  • Salt as needed

METHOD with VISUAL CLICKS

Take all the ingredients.
Cut off the corners of the bread.
Take the boiled eggs in a bowl.
Using a fork just mash them as fine as possible.
Add pepper and salt to taste.
Mix everything well.
Apply mayonnaise on one side of the bread slices.
Like this.
Then top it with the mashed egg mixture.
Finally cover the bread with another moyonnaise spread bread.
The sandwich is ready to be enjoyed. Cut them diagonally or into squares before serving.

Note : Can use whole wheat bread also.

There is no need to trim the edges of the bread. Its just to make it appealing for the kids.

If you have boiled eggs this sandwich comes together in just 5 mins.

No need to toast the bread, it tastes great when the bread is fresh.

Intead of applying the mayonnaise on the bread we can just add little to the egg mixture and then apply that to the bread slices.

 

The Mayonnaise is ready to be served with any fried items or as a creamy base for sandwiches or saldas. Try and let me know if you liked it.
