Quick Fix for Left Over Idly/Poricha Idly

Every time we make Idly am sure in everyone’s house we sure will have some leftover idly. Am sure mostly we do idly upma in different versions, but this is easier and a real quick fix which children will love to eat. Since my childhood this is the way my mom makes the left over idly’s for all of us.

Ingredients

  • Left over Idly’s
  • Oil – as needed

METHOD

  • Heat your dosa pan.
  • After it gets heated add a teaspoon of oil and place the idly’s on top and allow it to cook for few mins until a golden crust on top of the idly is formed.
  • Flip over the idly’s on the other side and cook it the same way.
  • Make sure both sides of the idly gets a golden crust.
